CLIFFORD of The Associated Press SAN FRANCISCO Aldo Ray, the burly, gravel-voiced actor who left a constable's job for Hollywood and starring roles in a string of combat epics, died Wednesday of complications from throat cancer and pneumonia. He was 64. Ray died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinez, about 40 miles east of San Francisco, according to hospital Associate Director Sheila Cullen. He was admitted on Feb.
