(https://ryder.com/job-applicant-privacy-policy)\The SSC Lease Billing Associate II is responsible for supporting the contractual billing team, training, as well as supporting the manager/supervisor. This Associate collaborates with Sales, Operations, and IT ensuring services contracted are optimal for standard and non-standard billing processes. The position will recommend modifications to billing processes to resolve situations and will contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals
Essential Functions
- Provides daily reports to team for lease charges due as well as rejections.
- Compiles data from various sources, to prepare customized mileage research report. Coordinate distribution and audit team results.
- Ad Hoc requests and special projects as necessary.
- The subject matter expert for contractual billing functions and issues, supporting the internal and external customers within our business processes.
- Functions as the team lead, providing guidance and support to include quality control and performance audits within the team
- Develop and maintain protocols, desk procedures, training guides, and internal control documentation, including adherence and support on internal and external SOX audit controls
- Performs month end accounting and finance close duties including contractual billing reconciliations for revenue versus expense and accrued revenue
Additional Responsibilities
- Supports Ryder in projects to include department, SSC, division and corporate initiatives
- Recommends improvement to departmental and or SSC procedures and protocols
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree required in related field OR
- 2-4 years of job-related experiences in lieu of bachelor's degree required
Skills
- Knowledge of Transportation Management preferred;
- Financial and accounting procedures required
- Intermediate to Expert Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programs required
- Perform Basic excel functions such as v-lookup, pivots, sort and filter
- Adobe or equivalent electronic data management programs required
- Functional/Technical skills

Compensation InformationThe compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.
Pay TypeCompensation ranges for the position are below:
Salaried
Minimum Pay Range60,000.00
Maximum Pay Range63,000.00
The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
