8 aug 2014 · Go to the kiosks on the fleet. Unless I'm mistaken they'll let you change races. Provided you don't mind spending CC on it.

13 okt 2014 · It is tied to the race you are when you talk to the NPC. No one ever mentions that you were previously a different race.
Is it changed to the race you are presently, or the one you were at the start of the game? For example, if you were human but you race changed to an alien.

How is this going to work now? Can you race change at 49 and then ding 50 and get the species unlock? If you race change at 50 do you lose the legacy unlock? Or will unlocks only recognize a char you created that has leveled from 1 to 50?
