Hi guys!

I had so many request of this garlic rice recipe from you guys when I posted a vlog video of Jacob’s Surprise Party!

If you want to give a try the marinate sauce I used on this video, click right here->Sempio Korean BBQ Sauce

I decided to share this garlic rice recipe, since it will goes literally anything and everything you can think of! Also it is super easy to make! 😉

I inspired this recipe from Filipino garlic rice- which is very simple garlic fried rice. But making over 4 to 5 cups of fried rice at home is not that easy.

Either you have to do a batches, or need restaurant quality heat and size of wok… just too much work and we don’t want that! …. at least I don’t want that.

So when I through parties at my house, I never cook fried rice or noodles but make rice that “tastes” like fried rice. 😉

This is one of those amazing rice “tastes” like fried rice recipe, hope you guys give it a try at Home!

I LOVE this recipe! I’ve never had anything like it before. Rice is one of my favorite foods, particularly white rice. This just adds wonderful twist on it. That toasted/fried garlic is genius. And I love the addition of fresh green onions and cilantro. For me, I like cilantro, for my family who hates cilantro I gave it a little Thai twist and used basil instead. It was a huge hit.

My only concern is when frying the garlic I was a bit paranoid that the butter would burn before the garlic toasted properly. I could have used oil but I wanted that rich butter flavor. So I just made some clarified butter instead. Worked fantastically!

Just made this rice for dinner tonight and O-M-G it is perfection. I’ll be using this method of cooking rice from now on. I was skeptical about cooking it for only 10 min. but it does cook all the way and turns out so light fluffy. The toasted garlic is addictive. Thanks for this recipe. You and Jacob should come to Reno some time. “Life in Reno” I could introduce you to our All You Can Eat sushi we have out here. I wonder which of us would be able to eat more? hahahaha
